Job Overview:
EB Flight Training, a growing flight training provider, is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience flying traditional “six-pack” analog instrument panels and preferably experience with Garmin G5 avionics. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate instructors who want to build time, develop future aviators, and work in a professional and supportive training environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary and advanced flight instruction in accordance with FAA regulations and company training standards.
- Instruct students in both ground and flight training, preparing them for checkrides and FAA knowledge exams.
- Maintain accurate student records, lesson plans, and logbook endorsements.
- Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Ensure all flight activities are conducted with the highest regard for safety and professionalism.
- Stay current on FAA regulations and procedural changes.
Requirements:
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI); CFII required.
- Minimum of 250 hours total time.
- Proficient in flying aircraft equipped with traditional six-pack instruments.
- Garmin G5 experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt instructional techniques to suit individual learning styles.
- Availability to work weekdays and/or weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Garmin G5, G1000, or other glass panel systems.
- Background in Part 61 and/or Part 141 flight instruction.
- Prior experience in customer service or aviation education environments.
