Checkout Process

Follow these simple steps to get checked out and start renting our aircraft

Step 1: Document Collection
Contact EB Flight Training to schedule document collection and scanning. We will need your pilot certificate, medical certificate, photo ID, and signed rental agreement.
Step 2: Rental Checkout
Schedule a rental checkout consisting of 1 hour ground instruction and 1 hour flight. Renters will be expected to demonstrate safe operation of the aircraft.
Step 3: Begin Renting
After a successful checkout, renters may begin scheduling rental flights themselves through our online system.

Rental Requirements
What you need to rent our aircraft
  • Valid pilot certificate (Private Pilot or higher)
  • Current medical certificate
  • Flight review within the last 24 months
  • Checkout flight with one of our instructors
  • Proof of insurance or purchase of our renter's insurance
  • 3 takeoffs and landings in the last 90 days (for carrying passengers)
Fuel Reimbursement

Current fuel reimbursement rate: $6.15 per gallon

While fuel is included in your rental rate, if you refuel the aircraft during your rental, you will be reimbursed at this rate.

Rental Rate

Aircraft rental rate: $190 per hour

Rate includes fuel. Billed by Hobbs meter time with a 3-hour minimum for full-day and overnight rentals.
