Elijah Burgess is the founder and owner of EB Flight Training, one of the most respected Part 61 flight schools in Daytona Beach, Florida. What started as a solo operation with just one instructor has grown into a thriving flight training center known for personalized instruction and student success.
As an airline captain flying the Embraer ERJ175 for a regional airline based out of LaGuardia, NY, Elijah brings real-world airline experience directly to his students. He holds a Gold Seal CFI/CFII certification, a distinction awarded by the FAA to flight instructors who demonstrate exceptional teaching ability and student pass rates.
A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Elijah combines academic excellence with practical experience. He specializes in airline interview preparation, helping commercial pilots gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed in airline and corporate interviews.
When not flying for the airline, Elijah remains active as a simulator instructor, introducing young people to aviation and helping instrument-rated pilots maintain their currency. His passion for teaching and mentorship extends beyond the cockpit into various aviation advocacy organizations.
Elijah is committed to giving back to the aviation community through advocacy, mentorship, and outreach programs.
